HR executives and managers engaged in encouraging the rest of the company to attend skill based and behavioural training programs, need to remember that they too need to do so.
Most often,people from other departments feel that the HRD staffers are the one who are most in need of training. The irony here is that this is not complimentary but also true. DOctors too often forget to take the same advice they give their patients. This is no excuse though. HR professionals must personally experience programs they recommend, because it gives them first hand knowledge of the program benefits and who would best benefit. It also helps them to recommend meaningful design amendments or changes or the building of further programs to cascade the learning process.
